Jason C. Lamb founded Shore Point Advisors in 2016. Shore Point Advisors has been a registered investment adviser with the State of New Jersey since July 2018. After spending seven years working for a broker-dealer, Jason realized that he wanted to make a change and do what he felt was best for his clients. He created Shore Point Advisors with the intent of always ensuring that his clients’ needs remain at the forefront of everything he does. In Jason’s position as an investment advisor representative, he acts as fiduciary, putting his clients’ interests first.
Jason started his financial career in April 2008, just prior to the Great Recession. Working in the financial industry during an economic downturn allowed Jason to better develop and strengthen his dedication to investor coaching, which is the basis for his teaching and continuing investor education in prudent investing. Jason’s disciplined coaching approach is a testament to his prior experience in law enforcement. His primary coaching goal is to prevent his clients from speculating, and ultimately, gambling with their money.
Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. In addition, he is currently continuing his education in financial academics to help his clients with the goal of finding the best solutions available.
Jason lives in Brick, New Jersey with his wife, Kristin. In his free time, you can catch Jason and his family on the water, as they are avid boaters. Jason is also an active supporter of paws4vets, a nonprofit organization that places service dogs with veterans that suffer from PTSD.
