Jacob B. Rue brings more than 25 years of institutional experience on Wall Street to a personal level here at Shore Point Advisors. Jake’s goal is to deliver a straight-forward, principled approach and he enjoys taking complex, multi-faceted situations and making them into more manageable, aligned tasks.
Jake received his MBA in Finance & International Business from the Stern School at NYU and his undergraduate degree from Rice University in Houston. His professional designations include the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) from the American College of Financial Services and the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) through the College for Financial Planning.
Jake and his wife, Carolyn, live in Oceanport, New Jersey and have three adult children. Jake is a member of the Church of the Nativity Finance Committee, is a former Chair of the Fair Haven, NJ Planning Board and served on the Board of Governors of the Shrewsbury River Yacht Club. He is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. When he is not at the beach or on the water, Jake is likely working on his family genealogy with his ancestors being some of the first to settle in Monmouth County.
